This is my first outdoor nude shoot. I’m a studio photographer and seldom shoot outdoors, but every time I do I’m blown away with the possibilities.
It was a challenging shoot. It’s rough terrain and it’s difficult to get into position to frame the images and get exactly the composition you want. Add to that the fact that Ahna is far away from me and it’s difficult to communicate over the noise of the river. Luckily Ahna, who happens to be one of my favorite models, is fine without direction and I just let her do her thing and watched in amazement.
