Ahna and I didn’t really have a firm concept in mind when we meet at the studio. I purchased a couple 4m lengths of sheer fabric and brought fans with me to the studio to see what we could do with getting the fabric flowing. The original thought was that I would try to billow the fabric in the air and get her posing under it. I also had an image in mind of a veiled grieving woman that I thought I’d try to actualize. Ahna ran with those ideas and we created some beautiful images. Most of these are pretty much straight out of the camera and required almost no editing.
