Gobos (short for go-betweens) are objects you stick between your light and your subject to project patterns. Occasionally, I’ll put my flash on one side of something in the environment (a plant, a fence, a blind, a lamp) to get some texture or pattern in the image. This time I used stencils to project the pattern. Thanks to Victoria for being my lab assistant in my experiment.
