There is no social platform that will allow me to share my art as a figurative art photographer. I can post sexualized pictures of women wearing next to nothing, but I can’t post a picture of a human just being human in their natural state. So I’m a big proponent for Model Society. It’s a community of photographers, models and artists who come together to create and share fine art that celebrates human beauty. It also offers a magazine showcasing the best in figurative fine art and an academy with training resources for creatives.

Their mission is to honor human beauty as fine art, encouraging people to appreciate it openly without shame and they provide a supportive space for artists to express their creativity, all while helping to inspire and captivate a global audience. Membership is free for everyone.

Fine Art Edition 4

I’m always inspired by the work on their site, so I was delighted to be selected out of thousands of submissions to be featured in their first printed art book. It’s a gorgeous 270-page bound book. They started a Kickstarter campaign to fund the publication of the book. The campaign has been successful and is wrapping up. You can visit the Kickstarter site for details and I’ll announce the official release of the book on my Instagram and Facebook accounts as well as to my subscribers as soon as it’s published.

Check out the video at the top of the Kickstarter site and be sure to join Model Society
