In preparation for a fine art nude workshop I hosted, I did this shoot with classic figure study poses. It’s just one light using classic chiaroscuro technique. You’ll also notice the use of contropposto posing which is characteristic of classical painting. Nothing fancy here. Just a study of the human body. It seems like it should be simple to do, but it’s always humbling for me as a photographer trying to get it right. Thanks to Everyn for modeling for me. She may look relaxed, but you have no idea how hard I made her work for these images. I owe her a massage for this.
