Jamie

I host Meetups and teach workshops regularly and I hired Jamie to model for one earlier this spring. I loved working with her in the past because she personifies the qualities I look for in a collaborator. She’s incredibly expressive with both her face and body. She’s self-assured and uninhibited. She’d rather produce an interesting picture than a pretty one. And she works to get the creative shot rather than your standard run-of-the-mill shot. 

I don’t normally shoot when I host events, but one of the photographers couldn’t make it, so I stepped in and took the opportunity to grab some shots. Here’s what I captured in three five-minute sets.
