I met Savage at a 1940’s ball in Denver last Christmas. She personified the classic 1940s pinup girl. Since then I’ve been wanting to shoot with her, but I got busy, the pandemic hit, blah, blah, blah… we never got it together. So when a photographer friend of mine was bringing her to Denver to model for a Meetup, I had to go. We did two sets: A Xmas themed set and a detective’s office. She was brilliant. She completely has the genre dialed in and exudes the appropriate levels of beauty and kitsch for this style.Â
