This is the third time I’ve shot with Kristina and every experience has been fantastic. She’s not a model, but she’s a trained actress, so she brings a certain level of theatricality into each session. I love her expressiveness.
I say this all the time: Modeling is not easy. Not only is it physical, but it requires a level of vulnerability and letting go of your ego. And I feel that Kristina embraces that and trusts me to get the shot.
We didn’t have a firm plan in place for this shoot. We knew we weren’t going for Insta-pretty. We wanted something a little moodier. So I set up this low key lighting and pretty much let Kristina do her thing with very little coaching.
