Kye is relatively new to modeling, so I was pleased when a magazine picked up and published pictures from our recent shoot. She has a lot of natural talent. I’m glad that this was a fast shoot with little time for direction, as it allowed her to let her personality shine. Her posing is a little unconventional, but it certainly works.
This was a commercial shoot for Brides By Tina, a makeup artist that also carries a lingerie line.
I love the tones of her skin and the yellow really pops. Those ones were done in a natural light studio at RAW Photographic Studios where I’m a resident photographer.
The others are done in-studio with a simple lighting setup. There’s a key light in a large octabox on camera left, a big umbrella directly behind me to fill in shadows, and a subtle kicker behind her camera-right.
