Headless

I’ve played with the idea of capturing a headless model in-camera (no Photoshop) in the past with Anne, who was willing to forego her usual sensual style and play with doing something more abstract. It was a bit of a challenge. 

So I was excited to get to try it again with Ahna. She is a fantastic collaborator and incredibly creative. We played a little more with perspective on this shoot at her request. 

When I shot with Anne, I pretty much lit up the studio because I didn’t know how I was going to shoot this, and I needed the flexibility to move around and have her lit from all directions. In this more recent shoot with Ahna, I had a better idea of how to light these kinds of shots. So you’ll see more shadow and dimension in the images below.
